The club presently maintains the Folsom Garden Club Park on Natoma and Sibley Streets in the historic part of Folsom. The park is a Blue Star Memorial Garden with a rose garden honoring past members.  To read more about the park click on the blue star.
FGC members will decorate a Christmas tree, provided by the zoo, for the 3rd annual "Wild Nights & Holiday Lights" fundraiser to help support the animals at the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary.  Our members will be making ornaments and/or refurbishing old ones to decorate the tree along with LED lights.  The tree will be one of many that will create an enchanted forest of lighted trees.
Members have worked on adding trees (4 crape myrtle trees in wine barrels), shrubs and flowering perennials to provide color and interest to these outstanding non-profit areas in old town Folsom.
We donated five wine barrels to the Folsom History Museum Pioneer Village.  The barrels were planted with perennials, annuals and/or bulbs.

Additional small projects at the grounds may be entertained in the future.

The Pioneer Village is an interactive outdoor living-history site that offers opportunities to feel what life for pioneers was really like.
